Chronology of cameras Kodak

The Signet 80 is the most enhanced of the Signets and the only US Kodak to have interchangeability of the lenses, apart from the legendary Ektra.
It also offers a Gossen uncoupled cell, giving the indications in EV, which, on paper, made it a competitor of the Vitessa T,Retina III S ou Aires 35-V !

The available lenses are three in number, all from Kodak:

  - 35 mm
  - A 50 mm
  - A 90 mm

The camera is pretty solid, but comfortable in your hand. The viewfinder is large and bright and the cocking lever is a kind of push that is activated with the thumb.
Speed adjustment is made on the front. The price at the time was quite high (129.50 dollars in 1959 with the 50 mm) for a not so performing camera and it did not have the expected success.
